Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has once again asked to be sold this summer as he looks to secure a big move to Real Madrid or Barcelona, according to Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old has been in sensational form for the Reds this season, scoring 30 goals in some glittering performances in the Premier League.

However, he tarnished his reputation once again with a bite on Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic during a match at Anfield, for which he received a ten-match ban. His antics have earned him much criticism from the English press, and that is thought to be his main reason for wanting to leave.

He has previously declared his love for Liverpool, saying he only wants to move to escape the English media, but he has now called for them to respect his wishes as he looks to fulfill a childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona.

“First I have a contract with the club, but if one day I want to sign [for another club], Liverpool will hear the offer, as it does with other players,” Suarez was quoted as telling Spanish newspaper Marca.

“They must agree with other teams, but the word of the player, in this case mine, is important. If you need a change, you should listen to the player.

“Every player aspires [to be the best] and if you ask a child of eight years they would say one day they would go to Real Madrid or Barcelona.”

Suarez’s fine form this season could attract bids of around £50million, and Liverpool seem to be preparing for the Uruguayan’s exit with the signings of Iago Aspas and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
