Real Madrid midfielder set to leave the club this summer.
Check in to Transfer Window: Done Deal Alerts
Real Madrid midfielder Kaka is set to leave the club and return to his homeland according to Corriere Dello Sport.
The Brazilian former World Player of the Year has failed to replicate his form for AC Milan at the Spanish giants and they are ready to cut their losses on him and allow him to leave.
It is thought that Kaka was close to securing a loan move back to AC Milan during last January’s transfer window, only for negotiations to break down over the player’s wages.
The San Siro side opted instead to buy Mario Balotelli from Manchester City at a significant financial outlay and it is understood that that has ended their interest in Kaka for now.
The player is keen to move on from Madrid as he looks to secure first team football in time for next summer’s World Cup finals.
The tournament is being hosted in Kaka’s native Brazil and the 31-year old is desperate to book his place in the Brazilian national squad for what could well be his final World Cup.
That could pave the way for a return to his homeland, with Corinthians thought to be interested in taking on the player’s services.
