Ten Premier League Players Strongly Linked With Moves to Join ‘Bigger’ Clubs This Summer

Yohan Cabaye- Newcastle

The Frenchman played a huge role in Newcastle finishing fifth in the Premier League during the 2011/2012 season and is regarded as one of the best central midfielders currently playing in the Premier League. Many pundits still rate Cabaye highly despite a disappointing 2012/2013 season at Newcastle and it seems that the player looks set to leave Tyneside this summer for a new challenge. Paris St Germain and AS Monaco are battling it out for the French midfielder, who could cost them around £20 million.

The Magpies would like to hold onto their star midfielder if they possibly can but it seems that Cabaye is looking for the exit door at St James’s Park. A move to French Champions PSG  looks most likely at this stage with the lure of Champions League football encouraging Cabaye to go to Paris. However, Manchester United are in the market for a central midfielder and the player recently stated that he would like to play for the Red Devils so should United enter the race, Cabaye may think again about a move to the French capital.
