Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is refusing to talk to Gareth Bale about a transfer to Real Madrid, the Daily Mirror reports.

The Spanish giants are desperate to land the skilful winger and have already had a £51 million plus Angel Di Maria and Fabio Coentrao offer rejected by Spurs.

Bale is reportedly unhappy that Spurs rejected Madrid’s offer and has made it clear to Levy that he wants to leave White Hart Lane and move to the Spanish capital.

However, Levy is refusing to hold anymore talks with Bale and has told him that he won’t be sold this summer no matter what Madrid offer.

Levy is determined to hang onto Bale for at least one more season as he feels that the club have a much better chance of qualifying for the Champions League if the winger is still at White Hart Lane.

However, Bale and his representatives are annoyed that Levy has gone back on promise that he made when Bale signed a new contract with Spurs.

It is suggested that Levy said he would let Bale leave if Madrid made an offer for him this summer.
