The Swede played under Ancelotti last season at PSG before the Italian moved to Real Madrid.
Paris St Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that he has spoken to Carlo Ancelotti following the Italians move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, Goal.com reports.
However, the striker didn’t mention any imminent move to join his former manager in Spain and said that he spoke to Ancelotti about some “small details”.
Reports have suggested that Ibrahimovic has fallen out with PSG’s new manager Laurent Blanc over the clubs signing of Edinson Cavani.
PSG paid Napoli £55 million for Cavani and it is thought that Ibrahimovic is concerned that he will play second fiddle to the French Champions newest recruit.
Real Madrid have been one of the clubs that have been linked with Ibrahimovic and while the Swede admits that he has spoken to Ancelotti, he didn’t mention any potential transfer to the Spanish giants.
“Ancelotti? Yes, we have spoken, but only in small details,” the striker was quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.
Ibrahimovic played in a friendly between Real Madrid and PSG on Saturday night and was full of praise when speaking about the Spanish giants after the match.
“Real Madrid are a great team, they are preparing just like us and working hard,” he enthused. “Los Merengues are playing well and have amazing players.”
