Hull City are keeping tabs on Watford hotshot Troy Deeney this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

Tigers boss Steve Bruce is desperate to add to his attacking options this summer as they prepare for the upcoming Premier League season, and wants to add one of the Championship’s highest-rated forwards in Troy Deeney this summer. Watford are desperate to keep Deeney, who they hope will fire them back into the Top Flite.

The 25-year old scored a hat-trick in Watford’s 6-1 demolition of Bournemouth this weekend, and is being tracked by a number of Premier League clubs this summer according to Sky Sports. Having already brought in Danny Graham on loan from Sunderland and Yannick Sagbo from Evian, Bruce wants one more forward this summer.

Hull finished second in the Championship last season, but were the least prolific scorers in the top half of the division, and won 18 games by a one goal margin, meaning the do need forwards if they have any hope of Premier League survival, and bringing in both Sagbo and Graham, and now Deeney, gives them great options and a terrific chance.

The club are also looking to bring in some midfielders, having failed in their pursuit of Wilson Palacios, and are keen on signing Evian’s Mohammed Badiu and Marseille’s Morgan Amalfitano this summer, and hope to conclude a deal for Badiu within the next 48 hours.
