The Columbian striker had been linked with a move away from Monaco just months after moving to the French club from Atletico Madrid.
Falcao has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Monaco, Goal.com reports.
The 27 year old striker surprisingly joined Monaco in May but has already been linked with a move away from the club due a number of financial issues that are brewing between Monaco and the French League.
French officials want Monaco’s foreign players to be subject to the same tax rules that apply to all the other French clubs.
If Monaco are made to comply with the French League, Falcao’s contract maybe cut in half.
This has lead to rumours that suggest Falcao is looking for a move away from the newly promoted Ligue 1 side with reports suggesting that he has already been offered to Real Madrid.
However, the striker himself moved to play down the recent speculation by saying that he is perfectly happy playing for Monaco and has no intention of leaving the club.
“This is totally false. I am very happy at Monaco,” he told RMC Sport after scoring in the 4-1 win over Montpellier.
“I am here and I am confident that the project here will work. I do not know where these rumours come from. ”
Monaco paid Atletico Madrid £50 million for Falcao in May and the Columbian has reportedly signed a five year deal with the Ligue 1 club.
