Santos midfielder Alan Santos has confirmed that Real Madrid have made an offer to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu, Sky Sports reports.
The 22-year has not long ago broken into the Brazilian side’s first-team plans, but Carlo Ancelotti’s men have tabled a bid which would involve the player initially joining on loan to with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season.
Santos would ideally be given the chance to impress playing Segunda League football in the club’s Castilla team, and he has revealed that scouts from the Spanish capital had been keeping an eye on his progress.
“I received the offer before the game against Barcelona, they watched me in three games in a row when I played as a starter against Portuguesa, Coritiba and Crac,” Santos told Globo Esporte.
“I am very happy, I am a reserve player and Real Madrid are interested in me.
“It’s of a course a dream, but it’s in God’s hands. If I have to go now, I will. If not, I can go later.”
Santos has made just six appearances for his current club, but has yet to score, though he has created one assist.
