Burak Yilmaz’s transfer to Lazio looks close as Galataray’s sporting director Bulent Tulun arrives in Rome to discuss the 28 year’s potential move to the Italian club, Goal.com reports.

The Turkish front-man was prolific for Galatasaray last season, scoring heavily in the Turkish league and also finding the net 8 times in the Champions League.

This has led to plenty of interest in Yilmaz, with several clubs reportedly interested in signing the striker, including Premier League clubs Chelsea and Arsenal.

However, Lazio look set to beat both the English clubs to Yilmaz signature and Tulun admits that the striker will be allowed to move to Italy for the right price.

“If we get a good offer we can let Burak Y?lmaz go,” he told reporters

Galatasaray will accept a bid of £15.4 million for Yilmaz but so far the highest offer they have received from Lazio is £8.1 million.

This means that there is still plenty of things for the two clubs to discuss before a deal can be completed.

This could give other interested clubs the time to make a move for Yilmaz, who scored 32 goals in 39 appearances in his debut season for Galatasaray.
