Anfield striker linked with last minute Bernabeu switch.
Real Madrid are reportedly readying a £45m bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez having completed the world record signing of Tottenham winger Gareth Bale according to the Daily Mirror.
The Bernabeu side are ready to sell a number of their squad in order to help balance the books ahead of a big money move for the 26 year old Uruguayan who Liverpool could well consider selling given that they have managed to win all three of their opening Premier League fixtures without the striker.
Suarez netted 30 goals in all competitions last season and is moving towards the tail end of the ten match suspension he received for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic but has been consistently linked with a move away from Anfield this summer.
The former Ajax man has stated his intention to leave Liverpool at points during the summer but the Merseyside club had stood firm and turned down bids from Arsenal for the forward but could perhaps be open to accepting an offer from a side outside the Premier League.
Carlo Ancelotti may feel that Suarez would be better spearhead for his Real Madrid attack than French international Karim Benzema though the former Lyon man did score in the club’s opening two La Liga fixtures.
Brendan Rodgers brought in Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas to help beef up his attack and with Daniel Sturridge in fine form perhaps Liverpool could entertain the possibility of losing Luis Suarez for the right price.
