Bernabeu side target Old Trafford custodian.
Check in to West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester United
Real Madrid will look to lure Man United keeper David de Gea back to the Spanish capital this summer according to Sports Direct News.
Bernabeu boss Carlo Ancelotti has used Diego Lopez exclusively this term, following Jose Mourinho’s decision to leave club captain Iker Casillas on the bench for almost the entire season, but the Italian now wants to sign former Atletico Madrid man David de Gea.
23 year old de Gea endured a sticky opening spell at Old Trafford but has gone on to become arguably one of the most reliable keepers in the Premier League.
Indeed even though Man United have struggled for form this season the Spaniard has managed to impress on a regular basis, the young custodian has kept four clean sheets in his past seven Premier League appearances.
However if Man United fail to secure a Champions League berth David de Gea may be tempted by a move back to his hometown, not least as such a move could aid his push for a first senior Spanish national team cap.
