It does not bode well for FC Barcelona fans that Alex Song appears to be treading a worryingly similar path to fellow former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong.
Both have released fashion ranges based on a made up word; for Frimpong’s ‘Dench’, read Song’s ‘Systeme Tchakap.’
While Frimpong was able to get the likes of Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski to pose in Dench gear, Song has the ultimate marketing campaign at his fingertips – getting the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar to pose in his disappointing baseball caps.
“tchak tchak is my World” reads Song’s nonsensical Instagram bio, and the Cameroonian describes it as follows:
“Tchakap is a way of life, a way of thinking. It’s being truly comfortable in your own skin, in your own shoes. It’s living, laughing and loving with all your heart. We DO only live once, but if you do it right once is enough! So let’s tchakap guys!!!”
