Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs will be missing for the club’s second leg encounter with Bayern Munich on Tuesday after he was sidelined with an ankle problem.
Striker Yaya Sanogo (foot) is also out, but defender Laurent Koscielny is back in contention after overcoming a hamstring injury.
Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is in line to replace the suspended first choice Wojciech Szczesny, who was sent off in a 2-0 first leg defeat and will therefore miss this encounter through suspension.
Jack Wilshere (fractured foot) remains sidelined for the Gunners, as do fellow midfielders Aaron Ramsey (thigh) and Kim Kallstrom (back), and full-back Nacho Monreal (ankle). Theo Walcott and Abou Diaby remain long-term absentees.
Bayern have no new injury concerns and can even welcome Franck Ribery back after he missed the first leg but made an appearance during the side’s 6-1 win over Wolfsburg at the weekend.
