The Uruguayan has demonstrated just why he is held in such high esteem by lighting up the Premier League with a series of devastating displays that have helped the Reds to recover to become a genuine title contender again.
The 27-year-old has already bagged himself 25 goals and 10 assists in just 24 appearances to aid the Liverpool cause this term, and though he put pen-to-paper on a new deal recently he is still thought to be attracting interest from La Liga big shots Real Madrid after they showed an initial interest in landing his signature last summer.
However, their path may now be blocked by Bayern as the Bavarians look to rejuvenate their attack as the likes of Mario Mandzukic, Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller could all be heading for the exit doors at the end of the season.
Pep Guardiola’s side have already secured the signing of Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund, who will join the club on a free transfer in the summer, but they are also looking toward Suarez, who they believe can operate just off the Pole.
However, Liverpool will do whatever they can to keep hold of Suarez, a task that may become a little simpler with the securing of Champions League football.
