Old Trafford side given chance to land Bernabeu full-back for cut-price fee.
Real Madrid will offer Man United a chance to sign long term target Fabio Coentrao this summer according to the Daily Star.
The Portuguese international is barely a bit-part player at the Bernabeu and is being made available at a reduced fee of just £10m and could be seen by David Moyes as an ideal replacement for Patrice Evra.
The Old Trafford left-back is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a return to Ligue 1 and Moyes has been linked with a number of potential targets who could fill the void that his departure would create.
Southampton teenager Luke Shaw is one such target but with a price tag of £30m the Premier League title holders may look elsewhere.
Moyes has previously pursued Everton’s Leighton Baines but the England man has extended his Toffees contract and doesn’t appear to be going anywhere.
26 year old Coentrao has made just five La Liga starts this term with Carlo Ancelotti opting to use Marcelo as his first choice left sided defensive option.
