Los Blancos youngster favours a move to Emirates Stadium.
Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Morata wants to join Arsenal this summer, according to Spanish media outlet Fichajes.
The source says Morata is also wanted by Inter Milan and Bayer Leverkusen but has reportedly set his sights on a move to North London, after coming close to joining the Gunners on loan in January.
Morata, 21, has made no secret of his desire for more playing time, having made just one La Liga start for Real all season.
The Spain under-21 international, who dazzled at last summer’s U21 European Championship, would have expected to be behind Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the pecking order, but Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti has also favoured fellow youngster Jese to Morata this term.
Real Madrid would reportedly prefer to loan out the powerful forward and if they sell him permanently, the Spanish giants are likely to insist on a buy back clause.
Over in Germany, daily Bild claims Borrusia Dortmund are also keen on Morata. The Bundesliga giants will be in need of a new centre forward this summer, with Robert Lewandowski set to defect to Bayern Munich on a free transfer.
