The Catalan side certainly need to bring in a custodian or two with both Victor Valdes and Pinto set to see their contracts expire this summer and Courtois has been in outstanding form during his three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid.
Jose Mourinho may well be ready to listen to offers for the 21 year old Belgian, who is yet to play a senior fixture for the west London side.
The Chelsea manager retains faith in Petr Cech as his number one starer and Courtois will not be happy to warm the Blues bench and therefore a chance to cash-in on his services would be one the Premier League side would no doubt consider.
Courtois’s value could skyrocket if he impresses at the World Cup finals and is just one of a number of Barcelona targets, with Bayern Munich’s Javi Martinez being another big-name player on the La Liga club’s radar.
