The prolific Uruguay international only moved to the Ligue 1 champions at the end of the previous campaign, with Cavani putting pen to paper on a lucrative five-year deal in the French capital, with the big-spending Parisians splashing out a whopping £55m in order to lure the player from Serie A outfit Napoli to the Parc des Princes.
However, the striker has endured a difficult debut campaign at the club, despite PSG retaining their top-flight crown, with Cavani often being shunted out wide to an unfamiliar position on the flanks in order to accommodate the services of club captain and forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
And now as a result, it is believed that the 27-year-old has told friends close to him that he intends to quit PSG when the campaign comes to an end, with the Premier League the South American’s favoured next destination.
However, it is Old Trafford rather than either Stamford Bridge or Eastlands where Cavani wants to play next season.
