The Nou Camp duo could well be on their way as part of the Catalan giants own squad re-shuffle but won’t come cheap 25 year old Chilean Sanchez valued at a minimum of £20m.

Wenger has had to overly rely on French forward Olivier Giroud who has as a result appeared exhausted at points this term and it’s sensible to look to strengthen his options in the final third.

Pedro and Sanchez have scored 33 goals between them in La Liga action alone this season but both could be sacrificed as part of Barcelona’s re-building project with Lionel Messi and Neymar seemingly being untouchable in terms of those in Gerardo Martino’s forwards who could be sold.

Arguably Pedro never receives the plaudits he deserves but during his seven season run in the Barcelona first team he has delivered on a regular basis and is a reliable attacker who is consistently capable of scoring goals and providing assists.

With Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski both missing chunks of the current campaign with injury issues one can see why Wenger would look to invest heavily in his Emirates Stadium attack.
