Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been linked with numerous potential summer signings and a number of sources have stated that the west London club have already agreed deals to sign four top talents.

There is no denying that the Stamford Bridge side could do with some new additions, especially to help boost the club’s misfiring attack as well as to replace outgoing veterans Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole, and seemingly the Blues are well on the way to welcoming in new arrivals of real quality.

A £32m deal is said to have been agreed some time ago, the fee being the amount needed to trigger the 25 year old’s release clause, and a medical has apparently already been passed.
Jose Mourinho was in urgent need of addressing his ailing attack, with Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto’o and Demba Ba all failing to impress on a consistent enough basis last term, and the addition of Costa, who netted 36 goals in all competitions last term, will go some way to rectifying the problem.
It is perhaps fitting that Costa’s final goal for Los Rojiblancos came against the Blues during the Champions League encounter between the two sides in late April.
