Real Madrid’s Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti has given the biggest hint yet that prodigal Spanish striker Alvaro Morata will leave the club, reports Football Italia.

The 21-year-forward has starred at various Spanish youth levels, and despite his undeniable talent, he struggled for game time with Los Blancos last term due to the likes of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale usually occupying the front three positions.

Throughout the course of the season, Morata was only given three La Liga starts, although he was brought off the bench on 20 occasions, which helped him bag an impressive eight goals.

As a result, Ancelotti, who led Real Madrid to Champions league glory, has admitted that he will not stand in Morata’s way if suitors come knocking.

“Morata? He is looking for an opportunity to play more than he is doing at Real Madrid,” the Coach is reported as saying by AS.

“And the club is in agreement with him.”

Arsenal, Tottenham and Juventus have all been strongly linked with the striker’s services, and a bidding war could now commence ahead of the start of the 2014/15 season.

Morata prides himself on his ability to get himself in one-on-situations by sticking on the shoulder of the last defender, and his strong finishing with either foot and his head.

Arsenal need a forward with Nicklas Bendtner leaving on a free – and Tottenham are in a similar position with rumours circulating that Roberto Soldado will leave the club this summer.
