Juve hoping to land two top Emirates Stadium targets ahead of Gunners.
Juventus are hopeful of wrapping up a deal to sign two top class wingers this summer as they pursue both Juan Cuadrado and Alexis Sanchez, according to Tuttosport.
The pair are among the most in-demand attacking players in Europe at the moment after both enjoying superb campaigns with their club sides, and it is thought that Arsenal had been keen to get their hands on one of them this summer.
Colombian wide-man Cuadrado has impressed greatly for Fiorentina this season, while Chilean forward Sanchez has also had a strong season for Barcelona, though he looks to be one of the club’s high-profile victims of a squad cull ahead of next season.
Arsenal are known to be in the market for new players in attack, but Juventus now look the favourites to sign both players ahead of much competition, with the Italian champions desperate to establish themselves in the Champions League after their recent domestic success.
Despite winning the Serie A title three years in a row, Antonio Conte has not yet managed to steer his side past the quarter-finals in the Champions League, and wants some big-name signings this year to boost his team’s chances in 2014/15.
