Spanish giants to move for prolific winger.
Check in to Switzerland vs France
Real Madrid look set to join Arsenal and a number of other top clubs in the pursuit of Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann, according to the Daily Express.
The 23-year-old is one of the most in-demand attacking players in Europe at the moment after enjoying a superb season in La Liga, and he could now be one of Madrid’s top targets as they appear to have given up in their pursuit of Liverpool star Luis Suarez.
The Uguruayan forward has long been linked with a big-money move to the Bernabeu, but it is now thought that the player is happy to remain at Anfield after the Reds’ success in sealing a Champions League spot for next season whilst narrowly missing out on winning the Premier League title.
Griezmann is another top talent who could add yet more class to Real’s attacking lineup, and a good performance for France at this summer’s World Cup will no doubt see his value rise even further after he managed an impressive 20 goals from midfield for Sociedad this term.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the talented wide-man, but with Real possibly set to allow Argentine attacker Angel Di Maria to leave this summer, Griezmann would be an ideal like-for-like replacement in that position.
