Barcelona aim to beat Arsenal to winger.
Barcelona are set to hold formal talks with the agent of Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado this weekend, according to reports in Spanish publication Marca.
The Catalan giants are desperate to bring in some new signings this summer in an attempt to revamp their struggling squad, with several high-profile departures also expected to follow Cesc Fabregas and Xavi, who have already left the club.
Arsenal and Juventus are also known to be keen on the Serie A sensation, who scored 15 goals and contributed 11 assists for La Viola in the 2013/14 season, but it would appear that Barcelona are rapidly making progress to bring him to the Nou Camp for next year.
The 26-year-old could complete a move to the La Liga runners-up before the end of the World Cup, where he has impressed so far with Colombia.
Co-owned until recently by Udinese, Fiorentina now own the full rights to the player, and will likely pocket around £22m from his sale if it goes through.
