The sums banded about in relation to the possible sale of Luis Suarez are immense, as much as £80m, and such funds would be ideally used to bring in three or four quality additions to help add real strength in depth to a Liverpool squad that will look to fight for honours on multiple fronts next season.
There are several ‘problem’ areas in Brendan Rodgers squad and the amount they could make from the sale of the 27 year could handily be used to bring in a fresh left-back option, a strong tackling midfielder and of course a replacement for Suarez up front.
