Bernabeu ready to break the bank to land Anfield star.
Liverpool are reportedly in talks with Real Madrid with the Spanish side ready to launch a world record bid for 27 year old striker Luis Suarez.
CaughtOffside understands that the Bernabeu side are ready to make an offer of £90m for the Uruguayan with president Florentino Perez fearful that La Liga rivals Barcelona are also interested in the former Ajax man and is therefore ready to sanction an offer that will rule the Nou Camp side out of the running.

Perez is confident that the marketing potential Suarez possesses, even after his latest unsavoury biting escapades, will mean that the deal will ‘pay for itself’.
There is also mounting concern that Cristiano Ronaldo’s knee injury could be one that limits his involvement this coming season and a move to bring in Suarez would in many ways limit the need to rush back the 29 year old Portuguese international too early.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen to bring together a three pronged attack that would see Suarez play a central role with Ronaldo and Gareth Bale play wide attacking roles, a mouthwatering possibility that would help the Spanish giants build on the capturing of their tenth European Cup/Champions League last term.
Though Real Madrid would prefer to offer players in part-exchange for Suarez to help keep the cost of the move down, Liverpool have steadfastly refused to consider such a move and will look to accept £90m in a straight cash deal.
Brendan Rodgers will then be handed the funds to re-invest in his squad, with an emphasis on bringing in a striker who can fill the void left by Suarez.
Liverpool’s Premier League title challenge last term owed a great deal to Suarez, with the forward finishing the season as the top scorer in the English top tier by some distance but also finishing the campaign as the second highest assist-maker.
The Merseyside feel they must look to sell Suarez after his latest high-profile transgression as they feel that having stood by the player on a number of occasions the decision to do so again could prove damaging for the club in the long run.
There is also a sense that Suarez may well have pushed for a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid in any case and in many ways Liverpool’s decision to do so now after his biting of Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini, absolves them of any accusation of ‘lacking ambition’ in relation to the sale of a star player.
Real Madrid are ready to sell a number of first team players to help balance the cost of a move for Suarez with the likes of Isco, Karim Benzema, Fabio Coentrao and Alvaro Morata likely to on their way out.
Liverpool paid Ajax £22.8m for Suarez back in January 2011 and he has racked up an impressive 82 goals in 133 appearances for the club.
