In Modric, Ancelotti has a hard-working midfielder, who can drift between the lines and link the blistering front three with the rest of the side. The Croatian’s role in the side means Argentine sensation Angel di Maria could be on his way out, and World Cup superstar James Rodrigez could also arrive at the Bernabeu and compete for this spot.
