This incredible goal completed an incredible 45 minutes of football in the Peruvian Premier League.
Sporting Cristal’s Peruvian international midfielder Carlos Lobaton netted this goal against Juan Aurich from well inside his side’s own half of the pitch. As can be seen in the video, the goal sparked wild scenes of celebration from fans who could not quite believe what they had just witnessed.
The astonishing strike gave Lobaton’s team a 4-2 lead before half-time, with Cristal eventually hanging on to win the match 4-3.
