Daniel Agger – 6/10
Despite being constantly linked with a move away it seems the Denmark captain will be staying under Rodgers’ guidance after all and is a useful squad player.
Sebastian Coates – 4/10
Never really made it at the club and spent last term on-loan back in Uruguay and Coates could struggle to get into the team with so many central defenders at the club.
Tiago Ilori – 3/10
The youngster was acquired from Sporting Lisbon in 2013, but it looks as if the 21-year-old will probably need at least another year away on-loan before he is ready.
Mamadou Sakho – 6/10
Signed for £18m last summer the France international has certainly been erratic and inconsistent, but has also shown enough talent to suggest he could be a big star.
Martin Skrtel – 7/10
The centre-back that Rodgers trusted the most throughout the past 12 months, although it’s certainly in defence where the team needs the most work and Skrtel needs to improve too.
Kolo Toure – 5/10
Filled in adequately at the start of last season, but was calamitous later on and is unlikely to see much game time over the next year.
