May have been a little expensive upon his arrival from Swansea City, but now settled in the Wales international has proven he can be a useful addition.
Emre Can – 6/10
At just 20-years-old there were some exciting things being said about this former Bayer Leverkusen man in the Bundesliga and Can is a true box-to-box midfielder.
Steven Gerrard – 9/10
The captain and talisman and after retiring from international football can now solely concentrate on his club from his new deeplying playmaker role.
Jordan Henderson – 7/10
Alongside Gerrard is another Englishman who over the past 12 months has proven those doubters of his top-class ability wrong and Henderson looks to be a fine player.
Lucas Leiva – 5/10
Has drifted to the periphery of the squad, although the Brazilian still has the capability to be a superb defensive midfielder.
