Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over Real Madrid in Michigan has made history, with a record attendance for a football match on American football being set in the state’s The Big House stadium.
109,138 people crammed in to watch two goals from Ashley Young help United defeat the reigning European champions, smashing the previous record of 101,799 – who watched France taken on Brazil for the 1984 Olympics gold medal in Pasadena, California.
