Liverpool lead the race to sign FC Barcelona’s Dani Alves
A deal to secure the right-back appears to be moving closer after Alves’ agent denies talks with Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, reports the Independent.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to add competition for the incrasingly unreliable Glen Johnson and is preparing a £5.5m offer for the 31-year-old.
Alves is expected to be joined by fellow full-back Javier Manquillo, who will sign from Atletico Madrid on a two-year loan deal.
