This should put an end to the constant speculation linking the French international with a summer exit, fueled in some part to the costly outlay made by the Spanish giants as they brought in a succession of high-profile signings including James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos and Keylor Navas.
Benzema enjoyed a strong campaign last term, enjoying a solid run of first team action following the summer sale of Gonzalo Higuain to Napoli, and then impressed at the World Cup finals.
Real Madrid signed Benzema back in July 2009 and he had gone on to rack up 111 goals in 235 appearances for the La Liga side.
