The news was first broken during the press conference to unveil new defender David Luiz, having not been able to do so before as the former Chelsea man was on international duty with Brazil at the World Cup.

PSG had been linked with signing the Argentine ace on loan for the season at a fee of €10m, with the proviso that they bought him on a permanent deal next summer for a further €70m.
However, for the time being it appears that he will be staying in the Spanish capital, unless Manchester United decide to swoop in and take advantage of the situation.
But if he is too expensive for PSG, will United even be able to come close to the fee that Real are looking for?
Coach Louis Van Gaal has been linked with a number of big money moves this summer, and this even comes after the high profile signings of Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera, but much of it will depend on how badly Madrid want to move him on.
