Liverpool are set to battle AC Milan and Napoli in the race to sign Real Madrid keeper Diego Lopez according to talkSPORT.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers wants the experienced Spaniard to act as competition for first choice keeper Simon Mignolet, with Pepe Reina set to join Bayern Munich.

The 32 year old Bernabeu star has been the first choice La Liga starter for the past 18 months but the arrival of Costa Rica international Keylor Navas has led to Carlo Ancelotti informing Lopez he needs to find a new club.
Liverpool have brought a wealth of new additions this summer with Rodgers making good use of the £75m made from the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
Rodgers has welcomed in Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren, Divock Origi, Lazar Markovic and Emre Can as well as bringing in Atletico Madrid youngster Javier Manquillo on a loan deal.
Lopez has made 62 appearances for Real Madrid since moving to the Spanish capital from Sevilla back in January 2013.
