Juve to attempt Gunners raid after Nani snub.

Juventus could be set to make an approach for Arsenal star Santi Cazorla as they eye an alternative signing in the wide areas to Nani, who has left Manchester United for Sporting Lisbon.
The Italian giants had been linked with the Portuguese international for much of the summer, with talks taking place over the wide-man possibly moving to Turin as part of any potential deal taking Arturo Vidal to Old Trafford.
However, Nani has now rejoined his old club Sporting Lisbon in another swap deal which has seen United sign versatile Argentine defender Marcos Rojo, leaving Juve to ponder other options in the attacking midfield position.
Having also been linked with Atletico Madrid earlier this summer, it seems that Cazorla has become the priority target for Juventus now, with the Serie A champions weighing up a bid of around £15m to test Arsenal’s resolve.
With the arrival of Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates Stadium this summer following a £35m move from Barcelona, plus the return to the squad of exciting youngster Joel Campbell after three years on loan, it could be that Cazorla’s opportunities in the starting lineup will be somewhat more limited this year than before.
The Spaniard has largely been a key player for the Gunners since joining from Malaga in the summer of 2012, though he has not always been the most consistent performer, leading to suggestions that Arsene Wenger may be willing to accept reasonable offers for his signature this summer.
The 29-year-old is also nearing the stage where he may not hold much in the way of value in the transfer market for much longer, which could persuade Arsenal to cash in on him while they can.
Still, the north London giants are also likely to have offers for German international Lukas Podolski, who is a target for Turkish giants Galatasaray, and it seems unlikely that the club will be ready to lose both players.
