The Brazilian spent half of last term at Serie A side Fiorentina but didn’t sufficiently impress to earn a permanent move to the Italian side.
Man United paid FC Porto a massive £27m for Anderson back in 2007 and are now happy to accept a fraction of that outlay so as to finally offload the midfielder, who has struggled with form and fitness for much of the past three campaigns.
Anderson has started just 19 Premier League fixtures in the past three seasons and a move elsewhere may well be best for all concerned.
