Harry Redknapp Set To Sign QPR Contract Extension

Redknapp has managed a host clubs during his 31 year career.

Harry Redknapp is set to sign a one year contract extension with QPR this week, Sky Sports reports.

The 67 year old’s current deal had been set to expire at the end of the season but now it seems that Hoops fans can look forward to having the former Spurs boss at Loftus Road for another year.

Redknapp joined the London based club in November 2012 after being sacked as Tottenham boss earlier that year.

Despite plenty of investment during January 2013, the former West Ham manager wasn’t able to keep QPR in the Premier League however, their stay in the Championship wasn’t long with Redknapp guiding them back to the top flight at the first time of asking.

His side beat Derby County 1-0 in this years play-off final thanks to a late Bobby Zamora goal.

In even more good news for QPR supporters, fan favourite Les Ferdinand is set to be given a role at the club.

The 47 year old left his job on Tottenham’s coaching staff in June and will now be made director of operations at Loftus Road with his role focusing on the clubs academy.
