United on alert as youngster rejects new contract.Manchester United are the latest club to be linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot after he rejected a new contract, according to the Daily Star.
The Red Devils have been linked with a whole host of signings in midfield in recent times, with Louis van Gaal still on the lookout for players to come in in what has been something of a problem position for them in recent times.
Rabiot, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, is considered an outstanding prospect and one of the best young players in France, so could make a top class addition for United.
PSG have been desperate to keep the 19-year-old at the Parc des Princes, though he is said to have turned down another contract offer this week, rejecting wages of around £50,000 per week as he looks for a move away.
Rabiot is set on playing first-team football on a regular basis, with the vast competition for places at PSG making it a difficult challenge for him at his current club.
United will hope to persuade him to move to England, though Arsenal and Chelsea are still believed to be tracking him as well.
