Jose Mourinho has refused to apologise to Arsene Wenger for branding Arsenal’s Frenchman as a ‘Specialist in failure’ at the end of last season.
Since the offensive remarks from Mourinho, Wenger has won an FA Cup and the Community Shield with Arsenal, but during a press conference for Sunday’s match between Chelsea and the Gunners, Mourinho decided against retracting the statement.
Respected football journalist Miguel Delaney tweeted Mourinho’s response direct from the event.
Mourinho asked would he apologise for “specialist in failure”. “I didn’t get apology so don’t apologise. But we don’t need that. Move on.”
