(Video) Goias And Emelec Battle For Place In Quarter-Final Of Copa Sudamericana

Brazilian side Goias and Ecuadorian side Emelec go head-to-head tonight in the Copa Sudamericana Round of 16.

The Ecuadorian team have a slight advantage over their Brazilian opponents, winning the first leg 1-0 in the Estadio George Capwell.

Neither of the two sides are performing particularly well in their respective divisions. Goias are 9th in Brazil’s Campeonato, while Emelec are 8th in Ecuador’s Primera A.

The winner tonight will progress to the quarter-final of South America’s second-tier continental tournament.
