Ligue 1 giants linked with City target.
Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with an ambitious move to sign Real Madrid and Spain centre-back Sergio Ramos, according to Spanish source Fichajes.com.
The 28-year-old has recently been linked with a move to Manchester City as Manuel Pellegrini eyes a top addition to his leaky backline, though he now appears to be on the radar of Laurent Blanc’s big-spending side.
Although PSG splashed out big money to sign David Luiz from Chelsea this summer, the Ligue 1 giants are still on the lookout for improvements in defence, with the world class and experienced winner Ramos emerging as one of their top targets.
The Spanish international, a Champions League, World Cup and European Championship winner in a distinguished career, has been at the Bernabeu for the bulk of his career so far, having joined the club from Sevilla back in 2005.
It remains to be seen if Ramos would turn his back on Real after so long, while the Spanish giants themselves will also be keen to avoid losing such a key player as they lack other options in their back four.
Still, there is clearly growing interest in the player as PSG join City in the chase for his signature.
