Glen Johnson rejects new deal and looks set to move abroad
The right-back’s current deal expires next summer and Johnson has rejected the chance to extend that and now looks set for a move way from Merseyside.
According to the Mirror the 30-year-old is getting ready to follow in the footsteps of fellow countryman Ashley Cole and move abroad – with the left-back joining AS Roma last summer.
However, Johnson will have to take a heavy cut on the £120,000-a-week wages he currently earns.
