The Daily Mail claim that the former Stoke City and Crystal Palace manager could replace Redknapp sooner rather than later with the west London side ready to axe the veteran boss if results don’t improve.

Redknapp has two games to save his job with QPR sitting bottom of the table and though owner Tony Fernandes had been linked with moves to bring in Tim Sherwood, or indeed consider promoting Glen Hoddle into the position, but now sees Pulis as the man to keep the Super Hoops from the drop.

Hoddle was brought in as a QPR coach in August but hasn’t held a high level managerial post in over eight years whereas Pulis did a superb job at Crystal Palace last season before falling out with chairman Steve Parish.
