Who’s made the cut so far?

The Premier League is a quarter of the way through following this weekend’s round of matches, and the table is well and truly taking shape. West Ham and Southampton have performed well above expectations, and both currently sit in the top four. Jose Mourinho’s ominously good Chelsea outfit sit at the table’s summit though, and will take some serious shifting after their excellent start to the campaign.

Naturally, a number of their players make our Team of the Season so far, which also features Man United’s talented goalkeeper and Arsenal’s marquee summer signing.

David De Gea makes our side ahead of Thibaut Courtois courtesy of having had more to do than the Chelsea keeper. The Spaniard’s highlight of the season being the spectacular last minute save from Everton’s Bryan Oviedo, which helped United hold on to a 2-1 victory against the Toffees.
