David Silva will miss the derby with the Red Devils
There is some good news for Louis van Gaal’s men ahead of the weekend clash at the Etihad as key Citizens player Silva will be missing with a knee injury, according to the Mirror.
The Spain international picked up the problem during the midweek Capital One Cup defeat to Newcastle United and scans have revealed the 28-year-old will face a spell on the sidelines.
Silva could be missing for up to three weeks and this will add more pressure on under-fire manager Manuel Pellegrini.
