Premier League clubs chase Bundesliga attacker.
Liverpool and Manchester United are mentioned as among the clubs chasing the signature of highly-rated Hoffenheim attacking midfielder Roberto Firmino, according to German source Bild.
The 23-year-old Brazilian has been in sparkling form in the German top flight in recent times, notching up three goals and three assists so far this season after catching the eye last term.
Chelsea are also mentioned as possible suitors for this talented young player, with a long list of other European clubs also listed as monitoring his situation.
Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Zenit Saint Petersburg, Lokomotiv Moscow, Wolfsburg, and Schalke are the other clubs chasing him as he looks set to spark a mad transfer scramble in the upcoming January transfer window.
Liverpool and United could certainly do with improvements to their teams after difficult starts to the season, with the Reds in particular need of inspiration in attack after losing Luis Suarez to Barcelona in the summer.
Chelsea, however, have plenty of other top quality attacking midfield options on the books at Stamford Bridge at the moment and it is hard to see where Firmino would fit into Jose Mourinho’s first-team plans.
