It was Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge that originally made public the fact that Reus has a release clause written into his contract – something which has understandably made tensions between the two clubs even greater than before.
Rummenigge told Bild of the clause and the German may well be tempted by following in the footsteps of Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski by heading to the Allianz Arena.
