The midfielder’s current deal expires at the end of the season, and with no sign of a contract extension he has been hotly tipped to make the switch to the Premier League.

Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea have all been heavily linked to the 2014 World Cup winner, but Khedira claims that he is yet to hear from any of them regarding a move.

The German international revealed that it is still possible that he will sign an extension with Madrid, although the competition he faces from the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Asier Illarramendi is likely to see him evaluating his options.

“I feel very comfortable in Madrid. I am not averse to staying. There are no talks with other clubs. I am curious myself to see where I will end up,” he said.

The 27-year-old is thought to be a top target for Arsenal, with the Gunners sorely lacking in defensive midfield. The fact that international teammate and former Bernabeu resident Mesut Ozil is also at the club is thought to be a big draw for Khedira, but it seems a switch to the Emirates is far from certain.
