PSG interested in bringing Balotelli to Paris for £8m.
Liverpool could be given an opportunity to get misfit striker Mario Balotelli off the books at Anfield after he accepted a charge from the FA about an offensive social media posting, but the Reds could have to accept a significant loss on the player if he was to move to either Paris Saint Germain or Inter Milan according to the Star.
Inter manager Roberto Mancini is interested in rekindling his relationship with Balotelli at the San Siro according to the report, with the Italian twice having maanaged his compatriot during his first spell in Milan and during his time as manager of Manchester City, with the two having had a notoriously dysfunctional relationship.
Mancini is believed to think that he is the man who can get Balotelli firing, however, and is set to try and persuade the club’s owners that bringing him back to Inter would be a wise move – but the club’s financial state means that they are unlikely to reach anything like the £16 million fee that Liverpool paid to Inter’s bitter city rivals Milan in the summer.
There is other continental interest in Balotelli outside of the confines of the San Siro according to the report, however, with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain also linked with the Italian international if they can snare him for around £8m – 50% of the price paid by Liverpool.
